Common questions

What counts as a transaction?
Any call to proco.payments.create() that results in a confirmed on-chain settlement. Failed or pending transactions are never charged.
Are there volume discounts?
Yes — Enterprise plans include tiered volume pricing based on monthly settled volume. Book a demo to discuss your specific throughput requirements.
Does Proco charge FX conversion fees?
No. Proco settles in USDC — a dollar-denominated stablecoin. There is no FX conversion and therefore no FX markup. Compare this to SWIFT at 200–400bp per transaction.
Who handles compliance?
Proco handles KYC, KYB, AML, OFAC screening, FATF Travel Rule, and sanctions screening automatically when you set compliance: 'auto'. No separate compliance layer required.
Do I need a Money Transmitter Licence?
No. Proco is non-custodial at the protocol level — funds move directly between parties without Proco holding them in transit. This avoids the MTL licensing burden for the majority of use cases.
How long does integration take?
